Originally opened in 1986 by artists Denise Carson Wilde and Sharyn Yuen, Paper-Ya is so much more than a stationery store. Today, the Granville Island institution is family-owned and operated by mother-daughter team Chris and Austin Szentveri, who take pride in sourcing quality papers, pens, journals, cards, writing accessories, art supplies, and beyond from makers and artisans across the globe.
